Brooklyn rapper Fabolous, whose single “Can’t Deny It” featuring Nate Dogg is currently skyrocketing up Billboard’s charts, will on Sept. 18 release his debut album, “Ghetto Fabolous.” The album, on DJ Clue’s Elektra imprint Desert Storm, will feature production work from Rick Rock, DJ Clue, Timbaland, Duro, Rockwilder, the Neptunes, and Just Blaze.
Though “Ghetto Fabolous” marks the 21 year-old rapper’s first solo release, he’s no stranger to rap fans. The artist has been working with DJ Clue since 1998, and guests on Maria Carey’s remake of “Last Night a DJ Saved My Life,” as well as upcoming albums by Jimmy Cozier, Macy Gray, and Carey.
He can also be heard on Lil’ Mo’s “Superwoman Pt. II,” which is No. 12 on The Billboard Hot 100. Lil’ Mo returned the favor and dropped some backing vocals on “Can’t Deny It,” which is No. 17 in its third week on Billboard’s Hot Rap Singles chart.
