Veteran rock producer Bob Ezrin has joined the list of keynote speakers at the MidemNet Forum, held Jan. 26-7 in Cannes, France as part of the Midem trade fair.
Canadian Ezrin, whose credits include Pink Floyd’s “The Wall, Alice Cooper’s Billion Dollar Babies,” Kiss’ “Destroyer” and Lou Reed’s “Berlin,” is currently chairman of Live Nation Recordings.
Creative Commons CEO Professor Lawrence Lessig has also joined the list of speakers at MidemNet, where organisers say the main theme will be creating value around music in the digiral world.
Jim O’Mahony, CEO Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australasia & Latin America, Saatchi & Saatchi, has also signed up to appear at the international forum on music technology and new economic models.
The latest names join a list of already-confirmed speakers, includng Joost co-founder & co-chairman Janus Friis; Vivendi CEO Jean-Bernard Lévy; and Nokia executive VP/chief technology officer Tero Ojanperä.
