Serbia’s EXIT Festival has a lot of fans. The EU Festival Awards named it the Best Major European Festival in 2014, and its sister fest Sea Dance in Montenegro followed that with the award for Best Mid-Size European Festival the year after. Croatia is hailed as the new King of seaside dance attractions, so it should come as no surprise EXIT happily announces its foray into the Croatian dance kingdom.
Sea Star Festival will greet the white sands of the Adriatic Sea Friday and Saturday, May 26 and 27, with a big warm-up party Thursday night and an after-party Sunday for those who just aren’t ready to go home. The Prodigy have been announced as headliners, with support from the local Dubioza kolektiv and Urban&4. More international and regional acts will be announced to fill Sea Star’s six stages as the date approaches.
Sea Star kicks off what organizers call the EXIT Summer of Love 2017, a series of four festivals across Europe that includes June’s Revolution Festival in Romania, the titular EXIT Festival in early July, and the fourth edition of Sea Dance festival a weeks later. Organizers will spread the love by offering a four-for-one ticket deal that grants attendees with a ticket to EXIT proper complimentary admission to any of its three sister fests.
