President/CEO National Music Publishers Association

Album of the Year — Taylor Swift, “Red” – Taylor remains one of the best ambassadors for the music industry. The entire album is fantastic, and as an advocate for music publishers and songwriters, I love that she writes her own music.
Song of the Year — “Just Give Me a Reason” [Songwriters: Jeff Bhasker, P!nk, Nate Ruess — Performers: P!nk featuring Nate Ruess]. It is always great when listening to a song feels like you are being told a story and makes you feel something. This song does that.
Record of the Year — “Royals” – Lorde – Many good songs in this category but this one stands above. Amazing talent.
Best New Artist — Ed Sheeran. I’ve been a fan of Ed’s since I first heard “A Team” before it became popular. He is a great performer and i would love to see a singer-songwriter win this award.
