Regional Mexican artist Espinoza Paz will visit 12 U.S. cities on his “Nace Una Estrella” tour, promoted by AEG Live. The tour starts June 19 at Denver’s Wells Fargo Theatre and wraps Aug. 28 at New York’s Nokia Theatre.
This is the first U.S. headlining tour for Paz, a prolific songwriter who has penned hits for El Coyote y Su Banda Tierra Santa, Cuisillos and many others. Paz — whose latest album “Yo No Canto, Pero Lo Intentamos” has sold 67,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan — won songwriter of the year and regional Mexican airplay artist of the year, male at the 2010 Billboard Latin Music Awards.
