Alt hip-hop trio Epik High will release their new album Sleepless In __________ on March 11, and it’s set to feature music by several popular artists, including Suga of Billboard 200 chart-topping group BTS and Malaysian soul-pop singer-songwriter Yuna.
After previously sharing that the album will feature indie singer-songwriter sunwoojunga, R&B singer Crush, and hip-hop artist-producer Code Kunst, Epik High’s three members shared the final collaborator lineup for the album on social media today (Feb. 27). The new update confirmed Yuna and BTS’ Suga as the final two artists that worked on the album.
The latter is especially notable, as Epik High is referenced frequently in BTS’ discography as inspirators of the act, with their 2005 single “Fly” and its music video referenced in the septet’s 2013 debut album 2 Cool 4 Skool. Suga recently featured on Lee Sora’s “Song Request,” which was written by Epik High’s Tablo.
The album’s release precedes Epik High’s upcoming European and North American tour dates. The trio will kick off their concert series in Berlin on March 13, and then perform six other European shows before heading to Minneapolis on April 1, their first of 18 North American shows.
