Tuesday morning on Good Morning America, film and TV producer Brian Grazer — whose Imagine TV produces Empire — stopped by to promote his book, A Curious Mind: The Secret to a Bigger Life.
Thankfully, George Stephanopoulos wouldn’t let him leave without sharing a little preview of Empire season 2. Here’s what Grazer had to say:
“Eminem, I know, loves our show. And I produced 8 Mile. I’m going to beg him to get on our show. He and Oprah Winfrey. Somehow I’m going to get one or both of them on our show.”
‘Empire’ Soundtrack Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200
Given that Lee Daniels — who executive produces Empire — directed Winfrey in The Butler, an appearance of the Divine O on Empire isn’t out of the realm of possibilities.
As for Eminem? Hey, he did a cameo on The Interview, and this would give him a chance to appear on a show people actually like. So why not?
Later on GMA, Ludacris and Fall Out Boy‘s Pete Wentz revealed the first five category finalists for the upcoming Billboard Music Awards. Check those out here.
