
Composer Alan Silvestri won two awards for his work on Cosmos: A SpaceTime Odyssey as Emmys in the music categories were handed out as part of the Creative Arts Emmys ceremony on Saturday.
Silvestri was honored in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Series category for “Standing Up in the Milky Way” and for Original Main Title Theme Music.

Don Was won an award for his musical direction of CBS’ The Beatles: The Night That Changed America.
The main ceremony for the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards will be held Monday, Aug. 25, and broadcast on ABC.
