Eminem called “The Morning After” with Angela Yee this morning (Oct. 28) in commemoration of the sixth anniversary of the Shade 45 radio station, and during the call revealed that he is currently in the studio with Dr. Dre.
“I’m in the studio with Dre now, let’s jus say that,” Em said, adding that Dre was in the other room at the moment. “Pretty soon he’s going to make a beat and I might rap on it.”
Other than that, Eminem said following the successful year he’s had with his hit album and “Home & Home” tour, he plans to “take a break.” He also thanked his fans and radio hosts for the success of his radio show. “I’m glad I could be a part of something,” he said.
Does this mean that “Detox” is actually closer to really being released? Or is this one of the standard “Detox” updates that add up to nothing in the end? We shall see.
