As his debut album “31 Minutes to Takeoff” launches on the Billboard 200 at No. 8, Mike Posner‘s “Cooler Than Me” lifts 7-6 on the Hot 100. Usher’s “DJ Got Us Falling in Love,” likewise rises a notch from No. 8 to 7.
Following its arrival on the Hot 100 last week at No. 3, download sales for Taylor Swift‘s “Mine” decrease by 41% to 176,000 in its first full week of availability, dropping the track to No. 8 (and from No. 1 to 4 on Digital Songs). The cut soars at radio, however, vaulting 53-30 on Radio Songs (37 million in audience, up 55%). The song, which concurrently bounds 26-17 as the Greatest Gainer on Country Songs, previews Swift’s third album, “Speak Now,” due Oct. 25.
B.o.B‘s “Airplanes,” featuring Paramore’s Hayley Williams, descends 6-9 on the Hot 100 and Jason Derulo‘s “Ridin’ Solo” holds at No. 10.
Trey Songz lands the Hot 100’s Hot Shot Debut, as “Bottoms Up,” featuring Nicki Minaj, begins at No. 22. The first single from Songz’ fourth studio album, “Passion, Pain & Pleasure” (due Sept. 14), marks his highest career debut. The song blasts in at No. 17 on Digital Songs (64,000) and rises 59-53 on Radio Songs (24 million impressions, up 18%).
Zac Brown Band’s “As She’s Walking Away,” featuring Alan Jackson, enters the Hot 100 at No. 77. It previews the group’s second major-label album, “You Get What You Give,” due Sept. 21.
Viral YouTube sensation “Bed Intruder Song” debuts at No. 89 on the Hot 100. The recording sports heavily-AutoTuned interviewee Antoine Dodson discussing an attack on his sister Kelly, who is also featured on the song, along with vocals and production from the Gregory Brothers.
