Publishing, imprint and label winners were announced during the Billboard Bash at Cameo Nightclub in Miami on Wednesday evening as part of the Billboard Latin Music Conference & Awards, presented by State Farm in association with Pepsi.
The ceremony featured performances by America Sierra, Akwid, Plan B and Grupo Treo. Billboard editors including executive director of Latin Programming and content Leila Cobo presented the event.
The publishing corporation of the year winner was EMI Music, while publisher of the year prize went to ARPA Musical, LLC, BMI.
The Latin rhythm albums imprint of the year went to Machete, Latin rhythm albums label of the year went to Universal Music Latin Entertainment, and the Latin rhythm airplay label of the year also went to UMLE. Machete also took the prize for Latin rhythm airplay imprint of the year.
Taking the best regional Mexican albums label of the year and regional Mexican airplay label of the year was UMLE. Regional Mexican airplay imprint of the year went to Disa.
Tropical albums of the year went to Sony Music Latin, while tropical songs airplay imprint of the year went to Top Stop.
The Latin pop albums label of the year winner was UMLE, while Latin pop albums imprint of the year went to Sony Music Latin, also taking the award for Latin pop airplay label of the year. Latin pop airplay imprint went to Sony Music Latin.
Top Latin albums label of the year went to UMLE, while Fonovisa took the prize for top Latin albums imprint of the year. UMLE took the Latin airplay label of the year and Latin airplay imprint of the year went to Disa.
