EMI Music Italy has appointed Claudia Lisa to the new post as digital business development manager.
Based at the company’s Milan headquarters, she reports to Maurizio Pontillo, VP of commercial, with immediate effect.
She will have responsibility for the digital sales of the EMI Italy repertoire, which includes strong-selling local artists such as Vasco Rossi and Tiziano Ferro. In addition, Lisa will be tasked with developing new forms of digital business and distribution.
Lisa joined EMI from Warner Music Italy, where she was new media and digital business development manager. Prior to that she had worked for the digital service providers Vitaminic and Buongiorno, before joining the Silvio Berlusconi-owned Arnoldo Mondadori publishing company’s wireless services department.
