EMI Music in North America has appointed Greg Thompson to an expanded, new role as executive VP of marketing and promotion. In addition to leading EMI Music’s radio and video promotion teams, Thompson will take on additional responsibility for product management, tour marketing, consumer insight and interactive marketing, according to a statement. He will continue to be based in New York and will report to Colin Finkelstein, regional president for EMI Music in North America.
Angelica Cob-Baehler will assume additional responsibilities as senior VP, media and creative services. She will continue leading EMI Music’s North American publicity and creative services teams, and will now oversee video production, grassroots marketing, and media buying. She will continue to be based in Los Angeles and will report to Finkelstein.
