What happens when you unexpectedly get to shoot a last-minute video in a $38 million mansion? You make the most of it.
Electric Guest did just that in their luxurious new video for their latest single, “Play With Me,” which dropped on Friday (Sept. 27). Asa Taccone lounges by the pool in a speedo, rocks cheetah print while sipping a martini, hangs on an indoor motorcycle, and muses at himself in the mirror while holding a pink rose.
“The song ‘Play With Me’ is about liking someone past the point you should,” Taccone said of the vibey track. “I grew up in the era of over-the-top, melodramatic music videos so this is my homage to the R&B videos that I loved so much as a kid.”
“Play With Me” is the third release from Electric Guest’s upcoming album KIN, following previously-released singles, “Dollar” and “More.”
