
A 24-year-old male is reported to have died in Las Vegas where he was attending the Electric Daisy Carnival. The cause of death is as yet unknown.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, which cites an overnight statistical report issued by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the man died at around 4 a.m. and was one of seven people transported to area hospitals. Some 35 festival attendees were arrested, most for narcotics offenses.

The three-night 2015 edition of mega dance festival EDC was expected to draw 135,000 revelers per day. Held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, temperatures reached 111 degrees on Saturday, and were expected to drop slightly on Sunday.
Last year, three EDC-related deaths were reported in a Coroner’s report following the festival.
A call by Billboard to Las Vegas Metro PD was not returned.
