On Friday morning (July 12), Sheeran released the Dave Meyers-directed video, which features everything from whacky costumes and wigs to references to classic movies like Edward Scissorhands, The Mask and Pulp Fiction.
The British singer-songwriter took to Instagram over the weekend give fans an inside peek into the making of the outrageous video for “Antisocial,” which appears on his just-released No. 6 Collaborations Project.
In one clip, Sheeran is seen getting fitted for a frizzy ginger wig and cracking a joke about meeting a small dog that’s featured in the video. Another shows him getting cozy on the couch in a white robe sporting another long-haired hairpiece.
“More behind the scenes of Antisocial. What you will learn from this is when I’m working with animals I try to shake their hands when I meet them #dogshavefeelingstoo,” the singer captioned the Instagram video.
“Antisocial” is the latest song from the album that features collabs with everyone from Bruno Mars and Chris Stapleton, to Justin Bieber, Cardi B and Camila Cabello, Chance the Rapper, Eminem and 50 Cent, H.E.R., Khalid, Yebba, Young Thug and more.
