
Echosmith will be the subject of the Artist Development Case Study for the 2015 Billboard Touring Conference & Awards, the annual event announced Thursday (Oct. 29).

The LA alt-pop band’s case study will kick off the two day event in New York on Nov. 18 at 9:30am, breaking down the recent career moves, strategic planning, synergies and music with the team behind it all.
The panel discussion will include Echosmith’s lead singer Sydney Sierota; manager Jeffrey David of Cranberry Road Management; Dave Dyer, SVP, promotions Warner Brothers Records; business manager Burt Goldstein of Burton Goldstein & Company; and agent Jeffrey Hasson of Paradigm Talent Agency. They will be examining the band’s career trajectory and revealing what is next.
Billboard’s executive director of content & programming for touring & live entertainment Ray Waddell will moderate the panel.

Echosmith broke out in 2013 with their debut album Talking Dreams, which peaked at No. 38 on the Billboard 200 at hit No. 13 on the Hot 100 chart with the double platinum song “Cool Kids.” Since, they have performed on Ellen, Late Night with Seth Meyers and the American Idol finale, with new single “Bright” reaching No. 40 on the Hot 100. They will support Twenty One Pilots’ U.S. tour this fall.
The 2015 Billboard Touring Conference & Awards will take place Nov. 18-19 at The Roosevelt Hotel in New York.
