
Earl Sweatshirt‘s major label debut will be dubbed “Doris.”
The Odd Future MC’s next project has been anticipated since he made his return to the public eye in February, releasing the track “Home” to celebrate his return to Los Angeles after months at the Coral Reef Academy in Samoa. In the meantime, the teen rapper had gone viral along with his crew, who emerged from Tumblr blogs to the mainstream on the strength of a number of free digital releases.

Earl has discussed several album possibilities since his return, including a collaboration with Tyler, the Creator as the duo EarlWolf, but “Doris” would be appear to be a solo offering.
He also released the video for “Chum” on Tuesday after some confusion: “Well if you can find the chum video watch it. Whatever. This whole process is fucked,” he wrote on Twitter after an apparent flub with a lyric video.
The bleak black-and-white video focuses on Earl, who raps amid shadows and a flaming shopping cart.
