The Eagles will return to secondary markets in May with their ongoing Farewell I tour, which began in 2002, Billboard.biz has learned.
The band, managed by Irving Azoff and booked by John Brannigan at the William Morris Agency, will follow several days of rehearsals at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich., with a May 12 show, followed by dates at the Peoria (Ill.) Civic Center (13); Qwest Center in Omaha, Neb. (15); Ralph Engelsted Arena in Grand Forks, N.D. (16); the Bismarck (N.D.) Civic Center (May 18); the Rushmore Civic Center in Rapid City, S.D. (19); Journal Pavilion in Albuquerque, N.M. (21); the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas (22); Tucson (Ariz.) Convention Center Arena (24); Casper (Wyo.) Events Center (26); MetraPark Arena in Billings, Mont. (27); Lawlor Events Center in Reno, Nev. (29); and Save-Mart Center in Fresno, Calif. (30).
The band cut individual promoter deals in each market for the tour.
The Eagles have grossed close to $88 million from 73 dates on the tour. There is no word on any dates this year for the Eagles beyond May.
