Initial on-sales for the first dates of the Eagles spring 2005 tour of the Northeastern U.S. and Canada blew out, with all shows at or near sellout.
Shows in North Charleston, S.C. (March 5), Greenville, S.C. (8), Duluth, Ga. (10), Montreal (28), Toronto (29), East Rutherford, N.J. (31), Uniondale, N.Y. (April 3) and New York City (11) all went clean, with shows likely to be added in East Rutherford and Uniondale.
The Eagles are currently in the midst of an Asia-Pacific run that includes five nights in Melbourne, three of which will be taped in an 11-camera shoot for an upcoming DVD to be released next spring on Eagles Recording Co. II.
The DVD, directed by Carol Dodds and engineered by Elliot Scheiner, will include two new songs debuted in Australia, the Glenn Frey composition “No More Cloudy Days” and the Joe Walsh-penned “One Day at a Time.”
