Bob Dylan and Elvis Costello will hit the road for a 13-date fall tour together, beginning Sept. 22 in Duluth, Ga. Amos Lee will also perform; for Costello, the dates comprise his first solo performances since 1995. Presale tickets for some shows are available now through Dylan’s Web site.
Dylan is presently in the midst of a short Australia and New Zealand and run, and will also perform Sept. 16 at the Austin City Limits festival in Austin, Texas. As previously reported, he will be the subject of the 51-track, three-disc retrospective “Dylan,” due Oct. 1 via Columbia.
Before the Dylan shows, Costello is playing dates with Steve Nieve as well as local symphony orchestras in such markets as Nashville, Cary, N.C., and Minneapolis.
