Ever since Drake announced “The Club Paradise” U.S. tour in March, heads started spinning with the possible collaborations that will hit the stage.
Drake is bringing J. Cole, Waka Flocka Flame, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz and French Montana along for the 27-city trip starting today (May 7) in Concord, Calif. “I feel like this tour is coming at the perfect time,” Drake said. “It’s taking place in the season that we all wait for. We’re outdoors and you’ve got every single artist you want to hear in the club on one bill… that’s Club Paradise.”
“Club Paradise” is sure to be an unforgettable event, every night. Not only do all the members of the boys club that is “Club Paradise” have anthems of their own, but they’re known to bring out heavy-hitters during their sets simply because they can. Oh you forgot when 2 Chainz brought Kanye West at SXSW? Exactly.
Majority of the rappers also have upcoming projects for which they’ve called on one another to be a part of. Aside from Drake on “Round of Applause,” Waka Flocka has also recruited Meek Mill for his ” Triple F Life: Friends, Fans & Family” (June 12), on the second track, “Let Dem Guns Blam.” Meek Mill’s mixtape, ” Dream Chasers II,” dropping today (May 7), features Drake and 2 Chainz.
