Drake is heading back to TV, but this time, behind the scenes as the executive producer of HBO’s upcoming series, Euphoria starring Zendaya. The rapper took to social media on Thursday (April 11) to announce the June 16 release date and reveal the show’s the official trailer.
“I promise you, if I could be a different person, I would,” Zendaya says in the trailer as she sprints through a neighborhood, with various characters and scenes from the series flash across the screen. “Not because I want it, but because they do. But here’s the thing: One day I just showed up without a map or a compass, and at some point you have to make a choice — about who you are and what you want. And therein lies the catch.”
The show is an American adaptation of an Israeli series of the same name, and in addition to Zendaya, the cast includes Maude Apatow, Sydney Sweeney, Algee Smith and Jacob Elordi. Watch the trailer below.
