Downtown Music Publishing has signed a worldwide administration agreement with producer/songwriter Antonina Armato, who recently co-wrote and co-produced the “Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus” single “See You Again” and six other tracks on the multi-platinum album. The deal covers Armato’s current catalog and future work.
Armato also recently co-wrote and co-produced nine cuts on Aly & AJ’s “Insomniatic” album; “Bet On It” from the multi-platinum “High School Musical 2” album; and the Sick Puppies album “Dressed Up As Life,” including the single “All the Same,” which reached No. 8 on the Billboard Hot Modern Rock Tracks.
The Sick Puppies album was the first release on the Virgin/EMI-distributed Rock Mafia Records, which Armato co-owns with Tim James and Paul Palmer.
Armato is currently working with “High School Musical 1 & 2” actress/singer Vanessa Hudgens on a follow-up to her debut album, “V.”
