The meeting comes just a few weeks after Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West, posted an endless slew of tweets in support of Trump, causing a great deal of controversy in the social media sphere. Among the words of support, ‘Ye called Trump his “brother,” both emitting “dragon energy.”
After her power-meeting with the president, Kardashian hit Twitter. “I would like to thank President Trump for his time this afternoon. It is our hope that the President will grant clemency to Ms. Alice Marie Johnson who is serving a life sentence for a first-time, non-violent drug offense,” she tweeted. In another message, the reality-TV star wrote: “We are optimistic about Ms. Johnson’s future and hopeful that she —and so many like her—will get a second chance at life.”
