Donald Trump claims to have offered various “assurances” in a discussion with Swedish prime minister Stefan Löfven about A$AP Rocky, who remains incarcerated in Stockholn following his July 3 arrest.
On Saturday (July 20), Trump tweeted that he insisted to Löfven that A$AP Rocky, a.k.a. Rakim Mayers, “was not a flight risk,” and that he additionally “offered to personally vouch for his bail, or an alternative” after the prime minister assured the President that Mayers was being “treated fairly” while detained.

Trump — who added that a follow-up conversation with Löfven is planned within the next 48 hours — became directly involved in Mayers’ legal issues after he was approached by Kim Kardashian, who has previously worked with the president on criminal justice matters.
