Doja Cat brought the drama to the 2020 Billboard Music Awards on Oct. 15, and now she’s giving a fans a peek into the hard work that went into the Chicago-inspired performance.
A new Jamal Peters-directed behind-the-scenes clip uploaded on Monday (Oct. 26) finds the “Say So” star in dance rehearsals learning the steps to her impressive chair sequence, only taking breaks to FaceTime her vocal coach and drink some tea.

The video follows Doja and her crew all the way through getting her makeup and hair done for the glamorous performance, leaving the hotel to take the stage and ultimately watching all her work pay off on TV when she rocked the BBMAs.
