Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer and Ben Harper are among the artists that will perform at both editions of Australia’s East and West Coast Blues & Roots Music festival. The event will take place March 31 and April at Fremantle’s Esplanade and April 5-9 at Byron Bay’s Red Devil Park.
Bo Diddley, the Roots, Lee “Scratch” Perry and Sierra Leone’s Refugee All-Stars will also play both editions, while Bonnie Raitt, Taj Mahal, Fishbone, Flogging Molly, Gogol Bordello, Animal Liberation Orchestra and Tony Joe White will play only the East Coast shows. Gomez and Amos Lee are on board for just the West Coast shows.
Wolfmother, Kasey Chambers, the John Butler Trio, Missy Higgins, the Waifs and Xavier Rudd are among the native acts set to appear.
Tickets begin going on sale Monday (Dec. 4).
