Whether or not local nightclub empresario David Grutman had anything to do with Super Bowl LIV coming to Miami, DJs across the country were tuned in to the big game — if not there in the Hard Rock Stadium crowd. Who said awkward gear heads can’t also have a love of football?
Major Lazer and Steve Aoki had their music played during the Jennifer Lopez and Shakira halftime show, TT the Artist produced a boss-level tune for a Turbo Tax commercial, and A-Trak was actually in the building (at least until news broke of A$AP Mob member J. Scott’s sudden death, when he decided to leave and pay respects).
Sad news aside, here’s how your favorite DJs and producers celebrated the Super Bowl.

A-Trak
It’s a packed house here, folks. The energy is palpable, as these two squadrons of legging-clad males prepare to face off and toss the ol’ pigskin.
The announcers are blabbering their usual propaganda.
Let’s get this party started.— Knowledge Of Selfie (@atrak) February 2, 2020

verdict of my weekend in Miami
1. Shakira is perfect
2. I definitely wouldn’t want to get into a fight with halsey
3. Football fans get mad when they have to stand up because others have bladders and need to pee
