Party people, get out your seats and get on the floor for DJ Snake and Mercer‘s summer club killer “Let’s Get Ill.” It’s dark, it’s stompy, and it’s delivishly good. It’s got the kind of groove that makes b-boys and b-girls twist limbs in all new directions, and you can see it at work in the fresh visual clip, funked up by Bristol-based animator RUFFMERCY.
You may have seen RUFFMERCY’s work in Thom Yorke‘s “Suspiriam” or Flying Lotus and Blu’s “BNG.” It’s a colorful, erratic style that fits well with the single’s bumpin’ warehouse bass. Snake may be an international superstar, but when he gets with Mercer, it’s a sound for the underground.
Dance videos are super hot right now, but this one is a little different. Check out the animated clip for “Let’s Get Ill” below.
