How do you decide what you’re going to play at a fashion event?
I often meet with the designers for a meeting and we discuss the theme behind their collection or I do my thing depending on the vibe of the night. Sometimes my mood or the way that I feel that day influences what I decide to play.
Is there one artist you won’t play?
Yes, the Bee Gees.
Who are your main style inspirations in the music industry?
FKA Twigs is stunning. She has beautiful contemporary and unique sound with an almost psychedelic vibe. Her music is great for the runway. She’s going to be big. She looks like a beautiful alien.
Rihanna’s a bad bitch. I’m not a big Beyonce girl, but I love Rihanna. Her style is bad-ass. No one is too cool for her. She is the Madonna of our time.
David Bowie is fearless. He was a god of starting trends.
Where do you like to shop?
Many different places. I love vintage shopping in flea markets, vintage stores and even Ebay. I also like to shop at Opening Ceremony and for designer items, 5 Story.

Simone Rocha.
What are your 5 must have fashion items right now?
My new Times Arrow hand bag, blue velvet Bionda Castana boots, my grey fur Helmut Lang coat, my pink Simone Rocha coat (this is on my wish list), my Andrea Neen clutch, and the new Prada crystal sandals in red.
What are your 5 tips for dressing for a hot night out?
- Never show your legs and lady lumps, always choose one.
- Red lips with no eye makeup.
- Always wear nice underwear, even if it’s only for yourself.
- Wear an unusual accessory to complete your outfit.
- Never try too hard, looking sexy comes from within.
