INgrooves To distribute BMG’s Recently-Acquired Mute and Sanctuary Catalogs
INgrooves has signed a deal to distribute BMG’s recently acquired catalogs, Mute and Sanctuary, which covers such artists as Nick Cave, Moby, Erasure, Iron Maiden, and Motorhead, in North America. Under the deal, INgrooves will provide physical and distribution services, including sales, marketing and catalog development, beginning August 1.
“Over the last 10 years, we have built both an unparalleled distribution platform that empowers our label partners and a dedicated, passionate staff who are experts in creating value from the repertoire we market and distribute,” said INgrooves Founder and CEO Robb McDaniels in a statement. “We are pleased to have been selected by BMG after such a rigorous selection process and are confident that the INgrooves infrastructure and team will deliver maximum benefit for these two great catalogs.”

Victory Records Signs Deal With I Scream Records
Victory Records has signed New York-based I Scream Records to an exclusive worldwide distribution agreement that includes the handling all international e-commerce. The I Scream catalog includes Life Of Agony, Madball, Ramallah, Trapped Under Ice, Stigma, Skarhead, The Last Resort, Wisdom In Chains, Earth Crisis, Twitching Tongues, Death By Stereo, Incite, Agnostic Front, MOD, Blood For Blood and Lionheart.
According to the announcement, I Scream was founded in Brussels by Laurens Kusters in 1994 and opened up its U.S. operation in 2006
Kusters “has a great ear as a musician, publisher and label owner,” said Victory founder Tony Brummel in a statement. “He has a fantastic catalog and will be announcing some very exciting signings in the coming weeks and months. I Scream is a great addition to our stable of distributed labels.”
The first releases from the deal are the re-issuing of the seminal Murphy’s Law catalog “Murphy’s Law”, “Back With A Bong”, “The Best Of Times”, “Dedicated” and “The Party’s Over” along with a new EP from Lionheart.
