
You’ve seen the original film, and the viral trailer. Now The Lion King has a new official poster.
The Lion King will come roaring to life when Disney’s remake hits theaters this July. On Sunday night during the Oscars, Disney dropped its new poster, featuring a touching sunset scene with a young Simba sat beside his father, Mufasa.
The trailer for the live-action reimagining of the 1994 animated classic broke 24-hour viewing records on YouTube when it dropped on Thanksgiving Day.
Disney’s update see Donald Glover lend his voice to Simba, Beyonce is on board as Nala and James Earl Jones returns as Mufasa. Jon Favreau is directing the film, which opens July 19, 2019. Check out the new poster below.
