It’s been nearly three years since Disclosure came stateside, and it’s not that often the brotherly duo has touched decks since it took time off in 2017. There was a DC-10 residency in Ibiza that year, but that was pretty much it until a special New Year’s Eve DJ set in Indonesia at the start of this year.
It must have reminded the guys how much they love mixing, for the four-time Grammy-nominated producers just announced a nine-date tour of the United States.
The tour includes some previously-announced festival dates at Lightning in a Bottle and Movement in Detroit, but also includes some club dates, like Clubb Space in Miami and Brooklyn Mirage in New York City. It kicks off May 12 at LIB, and concludes May 27 with an enviable performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. All dates appear to be DJ sets.
The road life return follows a brief period of pronounced production activity. Disclosure dropped one song a day for a week in 2018, including the single “Ultimatum” which was nominated for Dance Recording at the 2019 Grammys.
