Disclosure, the U.K. electronic duo composed of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence, have been earning acclaim over the past year for their winning instrumentals and soulful pop singles. Songs like “White Noise” featuring AlunaGeorge and “Latch” with Sam Smith have presented the brothers to wider audiences, while their remix to “Running” by Jessie Ware — who’s now their labelmate on PMR Records — has been a staple at the duo’s live show, which will head to Coachella on Sunday (Apr. 14).
Next up for Disclosure is a proper album — and when Guy and Howard recently stopped by the Billboard studio, they said that they were wrapping up their debut full-length, which follows their “The Face” EP. “We’re not doing remixes at the moment, because we sort of just finished our album,” says Howard Lawrence.
Guy Lawrence adds, “It’s basically a 50-50 mix of fully vocal tracks like ‘White Noise’ and ‘Latch,’ and then club tracks as well, which is kind of more back to our old days of samples and beats, because we don’t want to stop doing that.”
