We’ve all got dreams, but what happens when they all come true? You have to be careful what you wish for — sometimes, what looks like a dream can turn into a nightmare.
With “Wish,” Diplo throws a dreamy melody behind the realness to give things a surreal feeling. In the new visual for the track, he and Trippie Redd climb into a psychedelic mansion, and from there, it goes about as off the rails as you could expect.
The collaborative single, featured on Diplo’s recently-released California EP, is a strange ballad for those moments when running away seems like the best possible move. It hardly is, but putting this one on is at least the mini-escape your waking life deserves.
It’s a pretty cool music video, and it’s actually a really fun song, all content considered. Check it out below.
