While the pandemic has kept Diplo off the road, the producer did manage to jump on a plane in order to celebrate his longtime pal Madonna.
The pair, who worked together on Madonna’s 2015 LP Rebel Heart, linked down in Jamaica for Madonna’s ongoing 62nd birthday bash, which found the producer, the pop queen and an extended crew of friends and family getting down on the poolside dance floor.
A nearly four-minute video posted to Madonna’s Instagram today (Aug. 18) with the caption “The Birthday Party Continues In Jamaica” with three Jamaican flags, shows Madonna, her reported boyfriend Ahlamalik Williams, her children and other friends dancing at the event. Diplo makes a cameo at the 1:37 minute mark, busting out some impressive kicks and dips.
The party also included fire dancers, drummers and Madonna’s oldest daughter Lourdes making an appearance at the end of the video, presenting her mom with a birthday cake and a hug.
