“I was runnin’ through the 6 with my woes,” recites Katie Monks, of Toronto four-piece Dilly Dally, in her characteristic growl-drawl. At the CMJ Fader Fort hosted at the Converse Rubber Tracks studio, the punk outfit recently performed their rendition of Drake’s “Know Yourself.”
As of late, ”Hotline Bling” has been the en vogue Drake track receiving the rework treatment from everyone like Cleveland Cavaliers’ Iman Shumpert, Sam Smith and Disclosure, Erykah Badu — there’s even a wild Mario/Zelda Nintendo 64 remix.
