– YouLicense.com and RightsFlow have joined forces to give indie record labels the ability to add an automated synch licensing storefront of sorts to their Web sites. YouLicense runs the licensing tool, which RightsFlow essentially is marketing to its client base.
– XS Games, developer of the “PopStar Guitar” music game, unveiled a partial set list for the game, which includes hits from Rihanna, The Jonas Brothers and Maroon 5, all live version of their songs.
– The Orchard has added content from the Wu Music Group to its catalog. The deal gives The Orchard access to music from the Wu-Tang Clan hip-hop collective as well as U-God, Wu-Syndicate, Killarmy, Shyheim, West Coast Killa Beez, Black Knights and others. The content will be available worldwide Sept. 23.
