– ReverbNation is branching out into Web site creation and hosting services. The company has added a “site builder” option to its portfolio of DIY tools for artists, partnering with BandZoogle of Canada to do so. The option remains in a private beta phase today with about 2,000 users, but is expected to go live in early July.
– Music ID service Shazam has updated its popular iPhone app with new features. They include allowing users to Tweet info on identified songs, send tagged songs to friends, and geographically track the locations were songs were tagged. The service has more than 7 million iPhone users.
– Mobile content provider Myxer has landed a mobile advertising campaign from Ford, which is using the service to launch its 2010 Mustang model. Ringtones are a key element of Myxer’s content portfolio.
