— Mobile music service mSpot has added content from CBS Radio and Last.fm to its streaming music channels it delivers for various wireless operators. mSpot’s mobile application lets users stream participating radio channels through their phones, which to date also include content from Clear Channel Radio as well as individual labels such as Sony Music and Universal Music Group. The new deal adds more than 100 local radio stations to the mix, plus the personalized stations created by Last.fm users. Operators using the service include AT&T Mobility, Sprint and Verizon Wireless.
— Activision/Blizzard and MTV’s Harmonix have released the set lists for their upcoming music-based videogames Guitar Hero 5 and Rock Band Unplugged, respectively. — Digital distributor Ingrooves has expanded in to physical distribution with the release of the Crystal Method‘s new album, “Divided By Night,” which was released May 12. In addition to The Crystal Method, INgrooves will also handle both the digital and physical distribution for new albums from Freeland, whose debut album, Cope will be released on June 9, and Latin artist Down aka Kilo, whose album Cholo Skate will be released this summer.
