Diddy is adding another gig to his lengthy resume. The entrepreneur is reportedly executive producing an animated comedy titled Brightmoor.
The FX series — which is currently in development — was created and written by King of the Hill co-producer and writer Chip Hall and Detroit comedian Chris Powell (also known as Comedian CP).
According to Deadline, Brightmoor is described as “South Park set in inner city Detroit. It revolves around the African American pupils at Brightmoor Elementary.”
Underground’s Trevor Engelson and Five All in the Fifth’s Doug Banker will be executive producing alongside Diddy (through Revolt Films), Hall and Powell. Sarah Snedeker will oversee and produce the series.
