Jazz artist Diana Krall has unveiled the itinerary for her spring 2002 U.S. tour, due to kick off March 9 in Seattle and run through a May 25 date in New Orleans. Krall is out in support of her recent Verve set “The Look of Love,” which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Jazz Albums chart and a career-best No. 9 on The Billboard 200 in late September.
Among the 2002 dates are appearances at New York’s famed Radio City Music Hall (March 29), a two-night stand at Washington, D.C.’s Kennedy Center (April 21-22), and an April 4 benefit concert in New York, details for which have yet to be finalized.
Krall’s 2001 schedule concludes Thursday (Dec. 13) in Palm Desert, Calif., with an extensive European jaunt due to begin Jan. 19 in Bergen, Norway, and wrap Feb. 20 in Dresden, Germany. Krall is also beginning to confirm dates in Australia for mid-July.
