Gary Richards sure knows how to pick them.
Known for the curatorial expertise that built his HARD brand into a dance event institution, Richards is just as discerning when donning his Destructo artist alias. A week after releasing his well-received West Coast EP on Insomniac/Interscope, he’s unveiled a remix package featuring the diverse talents of Jack Beats, Shiba San and Djemba Djemba.
Pairing crisp hats and a throwback bass line with temperate pads during the breaks, English duo Jack Beats lend “Dare You 2 Move” an upbeat house flavor while retaining the original’s edge.
