Demi Lovato has picked her side in the Scooter Braun vs. Taylor Swift debacle.
On her Instagram Story Sunday (June 30), Lovato came to the defense of Braun, who became her manager in May.
Lovato urged her followers to look at both sides of the situation, asking them to “please stop ‘dragging’ people or bullying them.” She recognized that people might “come after” her for her comments, but emphasized her desire to be loyal: “If my name is gonna be brought into conversations I’m gonna stand up for myself and the ones on my team.”
Lovato is one of few who have defended Braun, along with his wife, Yael Cohen Braun, and Justin Bieber.
