Advertising Week is readying to welcome a slew of stars.
The 12th annual industry gathering — taking place in New York City on Sept. 28-Oct. 2 — unveiled its final lineup Thursday morning. Among the newly-announced names are Zoe Saldana, speaking on a Sept. 29 panel about the future of social entertainment and the importance of reinventing how advertisers and millennials think about content, delivery and access; and retired NBA Commissioner David Stern, speaking at a Oct. 1 panel on the future of sports digital media.
Additionally, the conference will feature a set by comedian Trevor Noah, fresh off his first night as host of the Daily Show, and a performance by Big Sean at the Week’s wrap party, presented by Vevo. A Universal Showcase will include Demi Lovato, Alessia Cara, and Joe Jonas with his new band DNCE (in partnership with Universal Music Group and Complex) on Sept. 29 at Highline Ballroom.
Others appearing at Advertising Week include retired NBA Commissioner David Stern, Saturday Night Live alumni Horatio Sanz, Olympian Lolo Jones, Daily Show correspondent Jordan Klepper, and eigning Nathan’s 4th of July Hot Dog Eating Champion Matt Stonie.
Previously announced speakers include Tim Armstrong, Pete Cashmore, Joanna Coles, Richard Curtis, Doug Ellin, Emilio and Gloria Estefan, Carolyn Everson, Sir John Hegarty, Bethenny Frankel, Jon Kamen, Michael Kassan, Ben Lerer, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Nigel Morris, Dascha Polanco, Michael Roth, Bob Safian, Sheryl Sandberg, Kathleen Saxton, Ryan Seacrest, Sir Martin Sorrell, Caroll Spinney, Morgan Spurlock, John Sykes and Geri Wang.
Advertising Week will feature 250 distinct seminars, all taking place at venues in its Times Square hub: B.B. King’s; the Hard Rock; Liberty Theater; NASDAQ MarketSite; and the Times Center.
