Death Cab for Cutie‘s Ben Gibbard is keeping the music alive, despite his solo tour getting canceled due to the rapid coronavirus spread.
Like many other artists eager to still engage with fans, the singer has been live streaming shows from his home. His first broadcast on Tuesday night (March 17) featured a lot of performances of Death Cab for Cutie and Postal Service tracks.
Most notably, he delved into an anecdote about a serene trip he took around Washington state, during which he and his wife Rachel listened to a lot of music. One of the songs they heard was Radiohead‘s “Fake Plastic Trees,” and he ended up covering the tune on live stream.
