
David Lynch is taking a break from work on his Twin Peaks reboot in October to host the inaugural edition of his Festival of Disruption in Los Angeles. The two-day event will feature Robert Plant & the Sensational Space Shifters, St. Vincent, Sky Ferreira and others, as well as lectures, dance performances and photography exhibits.

The gathering will take place on October 8-9 at the Theatre at Ace Hotel and will also feature DJ sets from Roots drummer Questlove and Jason Bentley as well as music from Xiu Xiu, Rhye, Jon Hopkins and composer Angelo Badalamenti performing “The Music of Twin Peaks.”
Listed under the “talks, exhibits, virtual reality, dance and film” banner are an eclectic group of performers and artists, including architect Frank Gehry, legendary comedian Mel Brooks, Blondie members Debbie Harry and Chris Stein, as well as original Peaks star Kyle Maclachlan and reboot cast member Laura Dern.
Tickets for the event benefiting the David Lynch Foundation run $199-$349 and go on sale Friday.
