Already one of the big-name performers at Ultra Music Festival Announces Phase One of 2014 Lineup: David Guetta, Diplo and More
In addition to Alabama Shakes, rock fans will find kindred spirits in alt-rock royalty Violent Femmes, ’90s bigwigs Third Eye Blind and Canadian indie poppers Tegan and Sara. Yelawolf, Hoodie Allen and Run the Jewels (El-P and Killer Mike) make up more of the fest’s hip-hop demographic, while Big Gigantic reps the dance crowd.
Slightly Stoopid, The Dandy Warholds, Blue October and American Authors are also among Suburbia’s lineup, with more to be announced prior to May.
“The enthusiasm for Suburbia is off the charts here at Live Nation,” Danny Eaton, Live Nation’s Senior VP, North American Concerts, said in a statement. “We believe that North Texas has been in need of a major music festival for many years and we firmly believe that Suburbia will be the vehicle to become an annual event for decades to come. We also want to thank the City of Plano for offering us this opportunity to showcase the beautiful acreage known as Oak Point Park to stage Suburbia. Suburbia is destined to become the premiere music festival of all time in the North Texas area.”
Tickets for the concert are scheduled to go on sale Jan. 25 at 11 a.m. ET through Live Nation’s mobile app and at its website. A pre-sale will also be available starting Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. ET through Ticketmaster, with more info available on the festival’s Facebook.
A full lineup can be found on the Suburbia Music Festival homepage.
