Guests at a Long Island wedding on Sunday were treated to an intimate performance by Dave Matthews, who made a surprise appearance to serenade the newlyweds.
Matthews played a string of early Dave Matthews Band hits, including “What Would You Say,” “Ants Marching” and “Crash Into Me” for the lucky couple.
The performance was a particularly special treat, seeing as Matthews and his full band are currently on hiatus since taking a year off from touring. The South African-born singer-songwriter recently closed off an acoustic summer tour with bandmate Tim Reynolds.
